Description
Tent Risers designed for use with hardshell rooftop tents. Most hardshell tents require an additional mounting bracket to lift them up off of the support bars of the rack system. We believe in keeping tents as low as possible and these mounts are designed to do just that. Select from two different height options to fit your application and tent needs.
*Mounts are sold in sets of 8 brackets.
iKamper tents require hardware modification; not compatible with factory hardware.

Quality of Materials
We build our products tough, with thicker and denser alloys than the competition. We want our gear to be there when you need it most. That is Adventure with Confidence.
Weather Resistant Design
Our products are designed to survive the harsh environment they were created in. We've got you covered from stainless hardware to rubber seals. Worrying about silicone and rusty bolts is a thing of the past.
Made in America
Our racks are made with components sourced from within 500 miles of our facility in Berthoud, Colorado and are backed with some of the best customer service in the industry.
Great quality and worked as expected. Would buy from Sherpa without hesitation.
These mounts are great. I was hesitant to use the ones that came with the tent (strap style directly on crossbars) and went with the 1" riser. Super solid attachment and easy to install with great hardware. Great addition!
I got these tent mounts to use as an alternative to the carriage bolt/bracket system that my tent came with. Upon unboxing, I could tell the tent mounts are super nice, thick, high-quality parts - I was super stoked to put them on my bed rack.
My real gripe comes with the hardware... For each tent mount, you are given three bolts, three washers, and three roll-in style T-Nuts for the T-Slot aluminum. The instructions (which are really solid, by the way) say that you can assemble the rack, and then simply roll the T-Nuts into the T-Slots, then screw the bolts through em'! It looked easy in the instructions...
However, one thing became extremely clear- the bolts were not nearly long enough to make this process easy. The T-Nuts would flip downward in the T-Slot of my rack, making it near impossible to screw the bolts in. Some bolts were actually shorter in length than other ones too.
That being said, I didn't want to give up on them, so I ended up completely disassembling one side of my bed rack so that I could pre-screw in all of the bolts, then slide them in on one side of the T-Slot, then reassemble my rack!
So, I slid them all in, then put everything back together and back on my truck. Then, I began having to adjust the brackets to line up with my tents mounting rails. To slide the tent mounts down the T-Slot channel, you have to loosen the bolts.. this is when the nightmares began. Because the bolts were so short, the slightest bit of loosening caused the T-Nuts to fall off! I was so sad because I basically had no easy way of screwing them back in while they sat in the T-Slot. I ended up shoving a thin piece of cardboard behind the T-Nut, which just barely allowed me to screw in the bolt. But this just kept. on. happening. I had to work like a surgeon to get the T-Nuts back onto the bolts...
After a couple hours of struggle to get the brackets lined up, I ended up calling an audible. I knew my tent would be under a lot of vibrational strain from off roading, which could easily loosen the tiny little bolts holding on my tent mounts. It just would not be safe at all. So, I unfortunately have to use my tent's cheap mounting hardware for now.
I am keeping my brackets, however, because they'd make great ditch light or other accessory mounting points on my rack!
TL;DR: Brackets are beautiful, sturdy pieces of metal that are worth the price- hardware is nearly impossible to use and unsafe in my case.
I have a CVT expedition series tent that is like 200lbs and it was a battle to get these installed. With a lighter tent it would be much easier but if you have a heavy one I do not know how you would get this done without two people. Quality is great and very solid
These mounts are the exact mounts I needed to raise my cVT MT HOOD up on my Prinsu rack on my Tacoma to prevent the rattling. Great quality mounts and were super heavy duty. I tried the .5” but they were too short and still rattled. Hope this helps someone
