Description
The Grand Teton Sport Toyota Tacoma Roof Rack is an all aluminum full-length roof rack designed for 2005-current double cab Tacomas. This rack mounts without any modifications utilizing the Toyota factory mounting points. The Sport Series racks are made from high grade aluminum and feature lighter and thinner side plates, paired with our industry-leading mounting structure at the core of our PEAK Series racks. We offer the strongest aluminum mounts on the market, utilize a direct load path and protect your vehicle with rubber seals. Sport Series are our lowest profile racks to date making it easier to fit your truck in tight spaces or under that pesky garage door. Our rack systems feature aluminum extrusion crossbars and large slots so you can reconfigure your rack for any need. Our drop in nuts fall right into the cross bar slots, allow for quick accessory mounting and insure you are always prepared for any adventure from hauling a bike to the trail to a weekend fly fishing in the mountains. The Sport Series is perfect for the weekend warrior looking to get out and enjoy their hobbies and a little nature.

WHAT KIND OF ADVENTURER ARE YOU? A
Alex Gingras The sport vesion is the light-medium duty one, but it feels plenty sturdy. I followed the PDF and watched both videos on youtube (video especialy good for the front mounts). I installed it outside during a snowstorm and it took me 3 hours. Since my Hilux Surf tracks are wider than the 4runner, I had to fabricate some custom plates using a flatbar and user the 4runner squares as a bolt. This as a quality item.

Anthony R After some researching and weighing the pros and cons it came down to Sherpa. Finally got the Roof rack I wanted. Install was easy and simple. A lot easier if you have a helper. Doable to do it alone. Did run into an issue but after reaching out, the Sherpa crew was there to help no questions asked. Would definitely recommend.

Chris Sevin Unlike other reviews I’m seeing, I’ve got no noticeable noise coming from the rack and most certainly no wobble. Running a 270 awning, OVS shower awning, and light weight RTT with no issues!

NATE SHANK I waffled back and forth before deciding on the GT Sport...I'm very happy I did. The quality is ridiculous. The directions were straight forward - took me a little longer to install bc I was anal about the weather stripping / and didn't have a buddy available. There was some minor shipping issue that the Sherpa team took care of immediately.
Really happy with Sherpa! Whatever you guys do, don't sell out or skimp on quality & keep up the outstanding customer service!
