Shorter to fit your light bar
This is option is a few inches shorter so that there is room for your light bar behind your fairing. Pair this with our light bar brackets and it will form a cut off line to reduce light wash on your hood.
Smooth face to deflect more air
Don't have a light bar? Not a problem! The Full Fairing is for you. This will make sure that you are deflecting all of the air around your rack. You can always upgrade later if needed!

Fit and finish is great. Install is not for the faint of heart. If you're not 100% confident, best let a shop do it. An install video would help, but I managed to figure it out. Customer service is top notch. I broke a few rivets on the install and Christian next day aired me extra rivets. Love my new roof rack!
I just finished installing this yesterday. I'm super happy with this rack over all the ones I've looked at. The mounting design will allow this rack to be removed if needed and leaves only the rivet bases in place.
A few comments regarding the installation instructions that I downloaded: They list (42) 1/4" flat washers when in reality there were (36) 1/4" BLACK flat washers and (8) 1/4" STAINLESS flat washers. Additionally, there are (8) M8 flat washers that are not listed in the instructions. They do not mention needing a 13mm wrench, but you will need that for installing the M8 bolts that attach the mount brackets to the rivet bases.
Finally, the detailed instructions state to drill a 13/64" hole, while the list of needed parts lists a 3/16" drill bit. I would recommend using the 3/16" drill bit because you will likely end up just a little bit sloppy during the drilling process - the rivets will fit snug with the 3/16" hole and you'll have a good solid connection. I would recommend leaving the rivet bases in place when drilling the holes because even with a good center punch it was difficult to perfectly align the holes with how the bases fit into the gutter. I also used a wood block as my drill stop and that came in handy for tapping the rivets into place as well since things were just snug enough.
one last thing - the FRONT holes of the REAR rivet bases will encounter two layers of metal that you will drill through. All the other holes only go through one layer.
100% AWESOME products! Have had the Crows nest for over a year and it is a nice rack, very stable and strong, the quality is second to none, have had zero fading, the fit is still as if new.
We added a Big Bear rack to the truck and it is just as well made. We installed it ourselves, zero issues with alignment, no wind noise, and the parts kit was 100%. The only part that made me a bit nervous was drilling into the roof, we used a portable drill stand with a depth stop, turned out great. I would 100% recommend Sherpa to anyone who would ask, as I have a few people whilst mall crawling at the local CostCo. Brooke is the BEST customer service person any business could ask for, took care of any questions I had. Thank you again!
