Shorter to fit your light bar
This is option is a few inches shorter so that there is room for your light bar behind your fairing. Pair this with our light bar brackets and it will form a cut off line to reduce light wash on your hood.
Smooth face to deflect more air
Don't have a light bar? Not a problem! The Full Fairing is for you. This will make sure that you are deflecting all of the air around your rack. You can always upgrade later if needed!

Will this rack fit 2nd gen 4Runner with tracks already installed
Perfect fit and finish.
Bought this rack for my 4Runner about a year and a half ago. I got the half rack because I have the sport edition and I have the sun roof which I still wanted full access of. If you could afford it though I would highly recommend the full length. These old 4Runners are not very big and while the half has held wood, sheet rock, my roof tent, a dead antelope, and several wood palettes I wish I had gotten the full length. That being said, I feel I have used my rack pretty heavily and it has withstood everything I’ve thrown at it. I can tell there is a limit to how much it could handle but it would still be quite a bit. It can hold my RC roof tent (100lbs) and my wife and I combined inside the tent which comes to a total of 425 pounds with the tent and the rack doesn’t squeak or flex under us or nothin! Holds the weight like a champ! LOVE LOVE LOVE these roof racks! They are definitely worth every dollar especially for now a days. It also holds the tent tight at 80mph on the freeway!
I've owned my beloved 3rd gen for over 20 years and always a work in progress. I debated for years about upgrading to a solid and practical rack and after a ton of research and feedback decided to go with the Antero and I couldn't be more pleased. What a solid product! and one of the things that sold me was be able to utilize the factory roof rails. Assembly and installation was a breeze. I had the product in a little under two weeks to my door and really satisfied with the whole experience. Just wish I hadn't realized after purchase that Sherpa offers a first responders discount. Maybe next time. I look forward to putting it through it paces and hopefully many more years of use.
Estimated ship time was 6-8 weeks when ordered in November. A week before my 'expected' date, I received an email notification notifying me of a possible delay. Well, my rack just delivered short of the 2 week delay. I want to say I was not expecting that considering our current situation. I have yet to install the rack but can already tell this is a high quality setup! Can't wait to install my Antero rack, Maxtrax mounts with pins, and awning mounts!
