Description
A new way to mount your essential gear for easy access and more storage. Made out of 3/16 aluminum, this lightweight yet strong panel allows you to add convenient mounting options to the side of your vehicle. Perfect to mount your recovery gear, fuel, water, shovel, axe, first aid kit, or nearly anything that can be bolted or strapped down. Compatible with most standard awnings using Sherpa Awning Mounts. Designed to match the window shape of your 4Runner, this bolts to your Crestone or Needle rack at the top and suctions to the window at the bottom. No drilling or other modifications are necessary.
MaxTrax extensions, MaxTrax mounts, Rotopax mounts, and QuickFists are sold separately. Covers the rear handle on the rack. Does not work with window decals; the suction cup must stick to clean glass.
NOT compatible with Sport Series racks.

What a great buy. This was very easy to install, and it looks great. I’ve got the Rotopax already mounted and we’re almost ready for our trip to MOAB this summer.
I purchased Sherpa's window panels for each side of my 2020 Toyota 4Runner. They give a look of ruggedness and are of excellent quality, just like their roof racks. So many people have complimented the look, even if they have no clue what the use for them are. I've had it for a few months now and they hold their cleanliness in the rain really well, most likely due to a high quality powder coat.
I just purchased the traction board mounts and will be mounting my ActionTrax on one of them and a Waterport on the other side. Can't wait to see how they hold up for years to come!
The only thing I can recommend to Sherpa is to file the logo cutout a bit more, as parts of the trees in the logo still had thick random bits of aluminum hanging on it after the cut, and do not look refined if you are looking at it. Just sand/file it down a bit more and it'll looks much sleeker. Keep in mind that no instructions were included, but I was able to piece it together simply by looking at the picture provided on Sherpa's online listing.
Thank you for your review! We will pass along the notes to the production team. They do take great pride in their finishing work but I am sure one slipped through. We have since added instructions for these to our website for anyone reading this in the future.
Super easy install, solid quality build, and looks great! Take the advice from the install instructions and mount your accessory brackets before mounting the panels. Sherpa knocked it out of the park again with another rad product!
