You’re looking at a car on our roof rack. So, why do we list a conservative load rating compared to some?
Because we care more about your safety than a spec sheet.
Competitors inflate their numbers to sell racks. We list realistic limits because we know that a top-heavy truck on a cambered trail is a safety risk. Our racks are over-engineered with thicker alloys and stronger mounts, but we will always value safe handling over marketing jargon.

5 Stars all around. Ordered my Crestone Roof Rack on 23 Nov 2025 and received it on 5 Dec. Packaging was outstanding. Install went smoothly after watching the Sherpa install video on YouTube. The rack is solid-I can grab it and shake the 4Runner and the rack does not budge. I could not detect any change at all with wind noise while at highway speeds. The rack made no noise while out on rough gravel roads. Highly recommend. Please see photo-it makes the 4Runner look better.
I have two rigs and both have Sherpa racks. I have a Matterhorn, Grand Teton and Crows nest. All of them are great. After having a bad experience with Prinsu products I was happy to make the switch. Sherpa products are just superior in my opinion. I’ve ran the mid-pak on my Tacoma also and it was another great product.
