What is Built By You?
We're giving one member of our community the chance to fly to Colorado, experience true Sherpa hospitality, and turn their best accessory idea into reality. They'll design it, build it, trail-test it with us, and then we are officially putting the product into full production to sell to the world.

Design
We’ll fly the winner out to Sherpa HQ in Berthoud, Colorado. Over the course of two days, you'll work with our team to design and build your dream accessory, then go test it out on the trails.
Launch
Think all of this was just for fun? No way. We'll launch your product to the world. And we'll be sure to let everyone know that it was built by you.

Quick Release Awning Mount
The Sherpa community has spoken!
Lauren’s idea for a quick-release awning mount was born out of a problem we all know: hauling heavy gear on your daily driver causes unnecessary wear and tear. She wanted a fast, easy way to slap her 270-degree awning onto her rack for the weekend, and take it right back off for the Monday commute.
So, what happens next? We’re flying Lauren out to Sherpa HQ here in Colorado to link up with the crew. Together, we are going to design, build, and test this thing. Once we know it’s bulletproof, we’ll put it into full production and drop it on the site for the rest of you to run on your own rigs.

Before you pack your bags for Colorado, here are the ground rules.

1. Eligibility and Participation
Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
Travel Readiness: The winner must be available to travel to Sherpa headquarters in Colorado within 60 days of being notified. Sherpa is not responsible for any lost wages or personal time off incurred by the winner.
Existing Customer: Participants must already own a Sherpa product.
Substitution: If the first winner can’t make the 2-month window work, Sherpa reserves the right to pick a runner-up without penalty.

2. Intellectual Property and Ownership
Ownership: All designs, prototypes, CAD files, and final products are the exclusive property of Sherpa.
No Royalties or Compensation: The winner will receive no monetary compensation, royalties, or residuals from the future sale of the product.

3. Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
Manufacturing Environment: The winner acknowledges that they will be entering a professional manufacturing facility containing heavy machinery, welding equipment, and industrial hazards.
Off-Roading Activities: Participation may include off-road vehicle testing. The winner understands that off-roading involves inherent risks, including property damage and physical injury.
Waiver: The winner agrees to sign a comprehensive Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement prior to arrival, waiving Sherpa of any and all liability for injuries or damages sustained during the trip.
